The Leland Chamber of Commerce was chartered on June 26th, 1968, and became affiliated as a Main Street Community in 2005. The Chamber Board of Directors and members work hard to unite Leland residents and businesses in pursuit of the health and welfare of our community: promoting our business members, initiating & supporting Quality of Life projects in Leland, representing the interests of our members and community to tourism groups, governmental entities, and other Chamber/Main Street organizations. Working with other local and regional community service groups, the Chamber pursues downtown revitalization and infrastructure improvements which will improve the appearance and convenience of travel in and around Leland. Employing modern media and networking exchanges teaches business members how to enhance their awareness to local, national, and international tourists or manufacturers who desire the Quality of Life that Leland stands for. Local events are actively publicized, and newspapers, radio, and television media are kept well-informed of these events.
