Join us Saturday, December 4, 2021 in Downtown Leland for the 56th Annual Christmas on Deer Creek - but bigger and better than ever before! Spearheaded by Chamber board member Sherry Smythe, owner of lagniappe Fine Gifts, the long-held tradition has been revamped this year, and will be an all-day event beginning at 9 am with a Breakfast with Frozen at the Thompson House. The new Deer Creek Marketplace will be selling Mississippi gifts and goods in Vince's Restaurant, a children's parade will take place that afternoon, followed by the Run Run RuDuck 5K, visits with Santa, and SO MUCH MORE throughout the day. As the sun sets, we will welcome the arrival of Santa on a water propelled sleigh down Deer Creek and all the floats will be lit for the remainder of the holiday season. Help us wrap up the day with a free outdoor concert featuring all local musicians, and concluding with a firework display. You and your family don't want to miss this day!
